Premium subscription

How do I cancel my subscription?

iOS: open Settings › your name › Subscriptions, select pourquoi.app, then Cancel subscription. Or via apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.

Android: open the Google Play app › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions, select pourquoi.app, then cancel. Or via play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.

You keep Premium access until the end of the paid period.

7-day free trial

When you finish onboarding, a 7-day Premium trial is offered through the App Store or Google Play, on the monthly or yearly plan. You can cancel before the 7 days end. Otherwise the subscription continues at the price you chose. Questions stay free after that. See the Terms.

How do I restore purchases on a new device?

Sign in with the same Apple ID (iOS) or Google Play account (Android), open the subscription screen in the app and tap Restore purchases.

Refund requests

iOS: refunds are handled by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.

Android: refunds are handled by Google via Google Play support or play.google.com/store/account.

Screen Time and usage (Android)

iOS: Screen Time authorization is optional. To revoke it: Settings › Privacy & Security › Screen Time › See apps that have access, then remove pourquoi.app.

Android: Usage Stats access is optional. To revoke it: Settings › Apps › Special app access › Usage access, then remove pourquoi.app.

“Ask Why” Shortcut

The Shortcut works on iOS 26 and later. To use it as an automation: Shortcuts › Automation › Personal Automation, trigger App is opened, action Ask Why. iOS may show “Ask Before Running”; disable it for a silent trigger (not guaranteed to be 100% silent).

Frequently asked questions

• Does the app send my data? Your answers and system usage data stay on your device. Optional anonymous statistics may be shared with Firebase if you accept. See Privacy Policy.
• Does the app block other apps? No, it is not a blocker.
• Android version? Available on Google Play. Features match iOS, with platform-specific permissions (overlay, usage statistics).
